Mocha 1.0 was announced in July 2025. Starting from this release, all new Mocha apps have a different underlying architecture to support new features, such as databases, user logins, and more. Mocha apps created prior to this release are no longer supported moving forward. If you have an older app and want to continue using it, we recommend you migrate it to a new Mocha app. If you see the following banner in your app, please follow the instructions below. Migrating to a new Mocha app

Unfortunately, there’s no straightforward way today to migrate apps. The simplest way is to create a new app, describe functionality of previous one, and include screen shots. If you are a paying subscriber, you can reach out to our support team for assistance with the migration process. We cannot guarantee help but we will do our best if you’re stuck.
