Mocha 1.0 was announced in July 2025. Starting from this release, all new Mocha apps have a different underlying architecture to support new features, such as databases, user logins, and more. Mocha apps created prior to this release are no longer supported moving forward. Migrating to a new Mocha app

Unfortunately, there’s no straightforward way today to migrate apps. The simplest way is to create a new app, describe functionality of previous one, and include screen shots. If you are a paying subscriber, you can reach out to our support team for assistance with the migration process. We cannot guarantee help but we will do our best if you’re stuck.
